Thames Path National Trail signs

Sold out
£ 125.00

Take home a piece of Trail heritage with an official Thames Path signpost finger.

Just for Christmas we are selling off some exceptionally RARE, or completely UNIQUE fingerposts, for an extra special gift.

Most of these signs have been out on the Trail but have now been replaced and are looking for a new home. They're all unique and have pointed the way for travellers on the trail for many years. Add one to your home or garden today – or buy one as a gift for someone who loves the Thames Path.

TP1 and TP2 EXCEPTIONALLY RARE – ONLY 2 EVER MADE!
These signs were being lovingly created by our craftspeople to go at the Source of the river Thames, when the extension to the Thames Path was being agreed upon – what this means is the signs became unusable, as they state the previous length of the path – 184 miles – before its new extension to 185.2 miles. This also makes them EXCEPTIONALLY RARE! Only two were ever made, and they will never be recreated.

TP5 COMPLETELY UNIQUE – ONLY 1 EVER MADE!
This sign is TOTALLY UNIQUE – it was made to go at the start of the Thames Path before the extension had been completed, so directs walkers to ‘The Thames Barrier’, which was the old end point. Due to the extension to Woolwich, the sign was never fully finished - the paint on the rear was never fully perfected – and the sign was never put out on the trail, making it truly a one off original.
